Issue Updating The Sims 3? Empty Issue Updating The Sims 3?

Hello, I am currently running V1.42... on my Sims game, now when I load the launcher it says :" There is a software update for The Sims 3 from V1.42 to V1.47 and everytime i try and update it, it says at the end in a dialogue box : Invalid File Found...Please help me! i remember this happening before and i beleive i had to manually patch the game.
