Location of Save Files? [SOLVED]

Hi,i dont exactly know if this is the right place,but i might as well try.
I got a new laptop and I want to transfer my Sim over,but I dont know where it's located .
Could anyone clarify for me as to where to find the save files,sims,and such things?
Much obliged if anyone did.Just saying,I'm mighty careless and cant really find things easily so excuse my confusion if it's in an obvious area.

I have The Sims 3 + Pets, Seasons and Generations and I'm having the exact same problem... A prompt answer would be appreciated.

Is it possible for me to simply create a "Saves" folder and insert my old saves into it?

Check under the Electronic Arts folder in your My Documents. I think that's where the Save folder is.
