Installation Question

I downloaded everything offered for the Sim 3 here (aside from the store updates) and was wondering if there is an order to install them in??? Or can I install them in any order and proceed to step 2 mentioned in the how to guide on here and then so on. Below is the list of what I have.



Base Game
Ambitions
Pets
Diesel Stuff
Fast Lane Stuff
Generations
High End Loft Stuff
Katy Perry Sweet Treats
Late Night
Master Suite Stuff
Outdoor Living Stuff
Seasons
Showtime
Supernatural
Town Life Stuff
World Adventures
70s, 80s & 90s

Now that I have all this listed, I also noticed that the Ultimate Fix does not have folders for some of the items I have mentioned here so therein lies another confusion for me. Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Hello,

No, there's no specific installation order for the expansion packs. You have to install the base game first of all though, prior to installing any expansions.

As for your other question, it's answered here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly (You do not need all those folder that come with the Ultimate Fix, just read step 3 and 4)

If you'd like to avoid having to update with each expansion, I would recommend either doing step two from Admin's linked post, or installing the most recent expansion/stuff pack you want first.
