Re: my first sims 3 question
I was wondering the same thing actually. I like to decorate my witches houses with elixirs, but it's annoying having to learn all the recipes or having to go to the shop because I want all the different colour elixirs :-/

Although I don't know a mod with which you can actually learn all alchemy potions "immediately", there's a workaround
With the NRAAS Debug Enabler you can choose to have one piece of each elixir in your inventory: click on a sim, then NRAAS/Debug Enabler/Skills/ DEBUG: get all alchemy potions.... Et voilà! you should have them all in your inventory.
By the way, you can also clone things with that mod: just click on an item in your inventory - elixir or something else, then again Debug Enabler/Options: (name of item)/ Clone.
However, it seems you can't clone things which have additional bits of information attached to them like weight, value, etc.. so items like rocks or pieces of metal.
Hope I could help you out a bit

You're welcome. What I forgot to mention was, if you folks think about this topic, then you'll realize that "learning" recipes doesn't help you that much: you would still have to find the ingredients...and this can be damn difficult - even with mods and cheats - because there's no way you can directly create a specific rock, metal, insect or whatever (at least I can't think of one)..
That said, have fun with the "Debug Enabler method"

with the debug enabler mod you can make elixers without ingredients carlos

Re: my first sims 3 question
OK, maybe I didn't articulate myself well enough..I know that you don't need ingredients with the Debug Enabler (because I showed you folks how to do it). But in the beginning, Scarletrose and you asked about learning the elixir recipes . Collecting the ingredients afterwards is -of course- a different issue.
Now I probably sound like a teacher - but the really important thing is that you can easily get all elixirs without worrying about the alchemy skill or any ingredients
