Sims Medieval wont work; "Please insert game disc and then continue"

So i've uninstalled and restalled the sims medieval about 3 times done exactly what the instructions had said, and everytime i get into the game a pop up will say "please insert the game disc" what am i doing wrong? what i do to get it to work without asking for disc ?
