University Life Installation Problem

Hey guys!

I have downloaded a lot of expansion packs from G4TW and they have all installed and ran smoothly. Except for University Life. I downloaded the game, did the patch, and ultimate fix. However, the game is not showing up that it is installed in the Launcher. My computer recognizes that it has been installed and there aren't any problems started my game, but none of the University components are there. I've read the install instructions multiple times, uninstalled the expansion pack, reinstalled and started from the beginning.

The little icons on the bottom row of the Launcher show that University Life hasn't been installed. I've included a picture so you can see what I'm talking about and see what version I am running.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm ready to pull my hair out. I've been trying to figure this out since this morning!

Please check C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\ to see if The Sims3 University Life is there. If yes, Please apply the Ultimate Fix to fix the problem.

It's there and I have tried the Ultimate Fix multiple times. I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong or what? I followed the instructions step by step...

Yes. I have used the patch before installation and again installation per invalidusername's suggestion on another thread.

Do u have any cc or any mods? If yes, please remove them. Plus, can u please tell me how you apply the Ultimate Fix?

I just removed all of my mods and CC.
When I apply the Ultimate Fix I open up the Ultimate Fix folder and copy the files under the folder called "University Life & 70s, 80s and 90s Stuff & Seasons & Supernatural & Diesel Stuff & Katy Perry's Sweet Treats & Showtime & Master Suite Stuff & Pets & Town Life Stuff & Generations". I paste these files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. I replace the files that are in there with the new ones. Then I start the Launcher, go to game updates and hit refresh. It shows that I need no updates so I close the Launcher and make sure it isn't running in the tray. Then I open the "# Crack folder", copy the two files in there and paste them in the same place I had pasted the others. I replace the old files with the new ones.

Just to be sure, redo the steps in the instruction on G4TW again. Plus, it is my advice: try to remove The Sims 3 folder in the document section and make a backup of it.

Okay, just for anyone else that reads this, the issue still hasn't been fixed. I redid all of the steps and nothing has changed.
