Sims 3 Late Night "unofficial game modification" error
Okay, I'm sorry if someone's already asked this sort of question but I can assure you I have looked high and low and everywhere I could think of for the solution and yes, I didn't find it anywhere.....
I installed sims 3 and late night and allowed late night to update the base game. Then I replaced the original .exe files with the crack ones and then they said the base game was incompatible. So I uninstalled it and then reinstalled everything and then I updated both sims 3 late night and sims 3 base game to the 1.19.44 version and the late night to 6.2.4 and then I tried to open the game to see whether there would be any notice like before but it was fine - there were no notices about anything except that this wasn't the original game. Anyway, I replaced the original .exe and .dll with the ones in the crack folder from this website for both TS3 and TS3 LN and then when I tried to open the game directly from the .exe file a message saying that there was some "unofficial game modification...." and that there was a possibility of crashing. I ignored it anyway and just played the game. It crashed after two hours and made my computer restart (even made a blue thing appear with many strange words that I'm never seen before - I did sort of read what it said at the bottom thought something about "physical memory dumping"). The next time I tried to play it, it was about to crash within 15 minutes of game play (I can tell when it'll crash because the screen goes black and the pointer keeps blinking). So anyway, I have a feeling that the problem starts when I replace the .exe and .dll file (maybe I need newer cracks or something) but if I don't replace the original ones I won't be able to play the game right?
I've been at this for three days now, I'm so frustrated with this, I would really appreciate it if someone knew a way to fix this. Anyway, I'm sorry for taking up so much of your time. I wanted to write in detail because I didn't want to miss anything that might give a hint to what the problem might be. If there was already a post with similar problems please do tell me but I think there is one with this problem.
Thanks.....
Aiko
PS. Do I have to download Outdoor Living Stuff for LN to work??

Yes, your problems sounds familiar to me.
Please install our Outdoor Living Stuff expansion from www.games4theworld.org and then apply this fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-latest-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
Your problem should be solved after this. Please tell me the result here.

Re: Sims 3 Late Night "unofficial game modification" error
I'm so so sorry for not replying!! I had to change pc all of a sudden and with exams coming up I had no time to go online to post anything or do anything with the sims 3. Anyway, right now I don't have time either but I want to take a little break from studying. I somehow managed to install sims 3, Ambitions, Late night and Outdoor Living and it even works!! I followed the instructions before too, must have been something I missed. Anyway, thanks a lot!! I'm sorry for the trouble.
PS. I was wondering whether it was possible to actually install the World Adventures after the other expansion packs with the crack already placed... I don't want to uninstall anything because it might not work next time I install it again.

Hi there,
It's OK and you're most welcome.
Yes, you can safely install WA now, without the need of reinstalling anything. Just install WA and SKIP the "# Crack" folder completely. When installation is done, apply this fix (again): https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-latest-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
Now start the game and it should all work fine again.
Good luck with the game ánd your exams!
