Hello,
I installed the game exactly as you described in the manual and applied the ultimate fix, but this problem does not go away.
When I start the game, it says that I need to update the game (Sims3_1.24.3.012017_from_1.23.65.012017). When I update it everything works fine until the installation of the update. An error pops up saying: "Update error: Invalid file found".
And when I start the game I get the pop-up "It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications of get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs."

What can I do to fix this?

Look Like you misplace the crack file.

Please post a print screen, where you put the crack file.

I suggest you to re-do the ultimate fix.

Hello,
I think you need to reapply the fix, it looks like you have an older version of the fix. That unofficial game modification error is no problem per se, you can click continue and play. But its a good idea to update.
I recommend downloading the latest fix and applying it as described in its installationguide. After that your game is up to date.
