Launcher Confusion. [SOLVED] Empty Launcher Confusion. [SOLVED]

After attempting to update to 1.50 the sims3 stopped working so I tried manually setting up the patch then applying the fix. however once I did this the Launcher Opens but once I hit play nothing else happens.

follow these instructions to fix your problem:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
DO NOT skip any steps and re-download the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix.
Note that
you may skip all "# Crack" folder, as specified on that page.

Always RE-DOWNLOAD the latest version of the Ultimate Fix, it's updated now and then.
