installation step confusion.[SOLVED]

ok so i can't run sims 3, what i did is:

1. installed sims 3 base game
2. installed generations then wa, ambitions, late night, pets
3. then installed supernatural (now heres the confusion step 11 says update but if i don't update during setup it won't continue so i did update)
4. followed the steps of copying stuff
5. copied crack
6. when i run launcher it says "there was an error during startup please see the log for details" and game dosent run from exe as well


plz help.....
and plz tell if im doing something stupid!!!!

no help with registry cleaning either

one more thing i tried is after installing supernaturals i installed patch 1.39(downloaded from simsprogram) used the fix still no luck

had to go one step ahead it seems black box version leaves alot of registries after following the video i did an old trick
"ctrl+f" and serch "sims" and deleted a whole lot of registries........and it worked anyways thanks a lot for your time and one last question if have

Base game, wa , late night, generations and supernatural installed at a later stage can i install previous ep such as high end loft stuff or fast lane etc,

Yes, you can!
Just install them and don't apply the included crack.
