Please help, I keep running into the same error no matter what I do. Empty Please help, I keep running into the same error no matter what I do.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong...I'm using all games 4 the world
downloads, and I've been following the guide, and I've only gotten as
far as installing World Adventurers (I'm wanting to instal all
expansions and stuff packs, going in order). At first I got an error
message, "Your the Sim 3 Base game is incompatible with the current Sims
3 expansion pack. Please update your game via game launcher." After I
updated through the launcher. So I thought I should manually patch it, I
did. Then I got another error message, "There was an error during
startup. Please see log for more details".

Could someone please give me some help here...I'm really tired of trying over and over again...

Another
thing that greatly concerns me is I have the base game and World
Adventures (bought disks), and I installed them and the same error
message shows..."There was an error during startup. Please see log for
more details" Now this only started happening after I downloaded and
installed a torrent called black box, had all the expansions and stuff
packs up to "Katy Parry Sweet Treats" and uninstalled it because it
started glitching after I tried playing again after a while. Since I
uninstalled that torrent, I always seem to get that startup error...

I am having the same problem, but i was having the problem before I downloaded any games from here, I had to format so I redownloaded all my games via Origin and when I patched the base game I got the dreaded error message and my game version now reads as 0.0.0.0., i have been at it for over a week trying to reinstall, i even did the manual patch but still the sims wont work, there are posts all over the Origin help page and ea page , most are saying its only happened since generations came out but i cant even get to late night lol, my base game just wont work not even with the "Super Patch" can anyone help with this, sorry for the rant Sad Evil or Very Mad

You have to make sure that EVERYTHING from blackbox is gone, registry keys and everything. I can't really help much with that, but Admin or another helper should be able to sometime either tonight or tomorrow.

I've had this error before, after uninstalling Seasons & Showtime, have you tried to delete your cache files? Someone else had this problem but it didn't work for them. Try that but DO NOT delete ANYTHING in the DCBackup folder OR DCCache in other words don't go looking in folders for cache or package files. Be careful of what you delete. Delete the CAScache files or things general like that, if you don't know or think that you should delete a certain cache file then don't. Delete at your own risk. If you need to ask about a certain cache file then I think I can help. But don't stress up it is 100% okay to delete cache files (certain ones) The game itself does it all the time and even if you do delete one you can always restore it back just don't delete the cache file and permanently delete it from recycle bin

We updated the fix for 1.50 about a month ago....

I am not a site moderator or anything but you need to post your own topic a Helper has already told you to! Before anyone can help you we have to help the original poster. Please don't take this the wrong way and in no way am I acting as a helper or a site moderator. I just want to clarify that you have been told to start a new thread cause you have still continued to post your problems on someone else's thread!
