sim city 4 deluxe edition

i get all the way to where i have to apply the crack and when i apply it, it says i need permission and when i give it permission it asks me to try again... please help!!!

Can you please post a screenshot of the folder you're copying to?
You have to copy to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps

Also, make sure you've extracted the files. If you're copying from the zip through winrar, it throws out permissions errors a lot.

i do not have the folder your saying i need to copy too...

i really hope this works because i have no clue how to attach a screenshot but this is of the file im copying to and it saying i do not have permission..

Try copying the crack from the .rar file to your Desktop first. From there, move it to the correct folder. See if that works, please.
If not, you'll have to change the access rights for the "Maxis" folder.

well i tried.... when i try to drag and drop into the maxis folder it says windows can not place a shortcut there would you like it to be placed on the destop... so if you could please explain to me how to change the acces rights it would be greatly appreciated
