"An Unknown Error Occurred"

After I installed OutDoor Living Stuff and applied the cracks (the ones from the Ultimate fix) my Sims 3 game no long works. I've tried reinstalling the base and the expansion packs, and reapplying the cracks, but the same thing happens. So, I figured the problem was with the launcher. I edited the info.plist file so the launcher would not open, and the game would start when I clicked the icon. The game starts, but then I get the message

"Unable to start game

Service initialization failed (0x6224dd27)"

Any ideas?

EDIT: I read online about some people getting this error when they have bad custom content installed. I manually deleted all of my custom content (sims3packs and packages), but that did not help.
