diagnostic messages in sims 2 winrar HELP

Hi. Everytime i try extract sims 2 downloads (from modthesims) files with winrar, there comes a pop-up on my screen who looks like this:
WinRar: Diagnostic Messages
File: Cannot extract
File: Does not exist.
I use Windows 7, and i have all the sims 2 expansions. Can u resolve this problem?

When you download the file, choose "Save as...", instead of "Open".
Now, try again.

Still not working, do you have other ideas?

Well, I don't know much about the file(s), since they are from an other website. Maybe it's a problem with the files, I don't know.
