Blank Screen on Startup.[SOLVED]

I don't understand why it's done this all the sudden but when I click play from the launcher or startup from the TS3W or the TS3EP09 file, it'll load a blank screen and nothing more. My PC sounds as it would if it's loading the game and the game acts as if nothing is wrong but it just wont load I can minimize the game click back on it, still blank and I can leave it in the background and hope it'll load an image or the sound but it doesn't. No errors, no crashing, nothing. And between the time it worked last I haven't added, removed, or modified anything. So, I've applied the ultimate fix, manually updated, and followed the steps stated in the sims 3 crashes/freezes desktop fix. I've backed up and removed the Electronic Arts folder in my documents and still nothing has changed...

I don't understand whats going on and I haven't found anyone else with this sort of problem.

I have all EP's and SP's, my PC exceeds the requirements to play this game. It was working perfectly fine last week and I changed nothing between then and now.

I hope someone can help

Just tried manual patch and re-applied crack, unfortunately it made no difference. Yeah I don't understand this either
No errors launcher works fine and all icons are highlighted

It's still acting the same, the game acts as if nothing is wrong, but theres no image no sound nothing, this is really frustrating it was working fine last week

I've found the problem, somehow the program changed the resolution to a size my HDTV couldn't read , so I changed it via the Options.ini in Documents\Electronic Arts and WALA! image and sound are back and the game is fine.
It's strange how it would just change that, is that meant to happen?
