Game wont start

I already have the cd's installer for sims 3, katy perry, vacations, nighttime and some stuff things. I have just now downloaded the bedroom and bath stuff and now the game wont work. I get the starterprogram up, click the start play button and then: nothing.
I followed the steps to the point in the instructions, but still nothing.....HELP!!!!

First, what is your base game version? (It can be found by hovering over the base game icon in the bottom left of your launcher)

Second, what expansions do you have, exactly? And where did you get them all?

I have the cds to sims 3, katy perry, Ambitions, Fast Lane Stuff, Late Night and World Adventures. I have reinstalled them all now because the game did not work after I downloaded one of your torrents. I installed and followed the instructions to the point...after I installed it I notised that the katy perry verson no was no longer lit up on the starterprogram. I had it installed, but it did not register anymore.....

Update your game/apply the manual patch. That should fix the expansion not lighting up. If it doesn't, please let us know.

The game didn't just stop working because of a g4tw torrent. I'm sure there was something that was simply misplaced or done incorrectly, as is the case usually..

There is no difference between the physical cds of the games and the copies that Admin puts up for download, except that some of the junk files were removed.
