Sims 3 custom content still in game Empty Sims 3 custom content still in game

Hello community.
I have total 17 parts of Sims 3 including the newest one - University life. I had some custom content installed too but as in I have 17 parts of the game my create-a-sim lags so much it freezes and I have to shut down it manually. I wanted to remove all my cc, did it manually by uninstalling items from launcher, cleaned up C:\Users\User\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3, but when i load my game there's still all cc in create-a-sim. Tho it doesn't even show up/appear in launcher. what do I do to remove it?..

Try deleting the cache, then restart the game!

Delete the DCCache and DCBackup folders from My Documents > The Sims 3.

Also, if you don't mind having a mod in your game, master controller (You'll only need the "base module") has an option in its settings to "show in compact form" for CAS, showing only one color option for each type of clothing/other item. All the others are still saved to the game, they just won't show up when CAS is loaded. This has helped a few people out with CAS crashing and lag before. Smile
