Different Regional Code?

Hi, so I was recently reinstalling sims 3 for only the 1920835th time since I've started playing the game, and this time when I tried to install World Adventures the most peculiar thing happened, the setup said that it detected that it was a different regional code than "what the expansion requires." I have no idea what this could be due to, my only idea is that it's possibly because I just manually patched up to 1.50 and I haven't done that previously when I've reinstalled. I'm not sure. Either way, the base game was purchased, but WA I got from games4theworld, and it always worked before. So if anyone has ever experienced this let me know, thanks!
