World Adventures Regional Code Empty World Adventures Regional Code

Post by Guest Sat 23 Jun 2012, 10:40

I am trying to install world adventures on mac but after entering the serial, it says something about the regional code being different. I have installed every other EP and SP but haven't cracked or patched. I was thinking to do that after installing everything. How do i install world adventures with the regional code thing. I had some modification bug earlier but uninstalled everything and redownloaded and reinstalled. I am using a pre cracked version of the sims 3 from tpb

Hi there! I did some digging because I was having the same problem, and I found a solution that works like a charm.

Go to Sims 3 in the Applications folder> show package content> content>
resources> transgaming> c-drive> program files> electronic
arts> the sims 3> game> Bin> Then open Default.ini with text
edit. Scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says GameVersion =
1.8.25.003001 change the end one to 2 or whatever works for you like
this GameVersion = 1.8.25.003002 then close and save. And that's it.

Super simple and installed right away as soon as I changed that number. Hope this helps!

Edit: Forgot a folder. Sorry about that.

Awesome help, thanks! I did exactly this and now I'm going to patch with the game crack files and I should be good! How'd you figure out to choose that file? Maybe some of these installation guides should also include MAC instructions??

Hello,

Admin is working on it, but neither of us knows that much about MAC, sorry.
That's why we depend on MAC users to share their knowledge and help each other out Smile
