The Sims 3 base game Games4theworld required??

Hey guys, I have another question for ya. I want to install the sims 3 ambitions but it says I have to have the Games4theworld version. I have already purchased the base game and dont want to have to go through the hassle of mounting iso's and blah blah blah. Can I just use my base game and install all the other Games4theworld expansion packs or do I HAVEEEE to have games4theworld version?? Anyone have any tips? Also I noticed that with the step by step guide you guys have, ambitions and generations arent listed, did you guys forget or are there additional steps needed to fix these expansion packs? I also run a windows 7 hp laptop.



Btw, I had previously posted a question regarding a problem I had with the launcher and how it kept crashing... the step by step guide yall have is AMAZING! its super easy to follow and worked like a charm

Ok, you can keep your base game and install on top, there shouldn't be a problem. There are certain expansions required for the Crack in the Ultimate FIx to work, but Generations is one of them, so no problem!
Just follow this to the letter, and you should be fine!
