sims 3 black box Empty sims 3 black box

so i keep getting this error when i try to run the sims 3 black box edition. the sims 3 base game is incompatible with your base expansion with your current sims 3 expansion packs. any ideas?

Hello,

Please do not use such a "Sims 3 collection". There might be problems if you are trying to run this, using the "Ultimate fix" from Games4TheWorld. I strongly recommend you get rid of that "BlackBox".

Instead, go to http://www.games4theworld.org/downloads.html

And download your base game and the expansions you want all separately.

Please proceed as follows then:

1) Install the base game.

2) Then apply the "manual patch", available here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v155-fix-manual-patch-updated

3) Install all expansions you want.

4) Re-apply that manual patch from #2, even if you get a prompt that your game "is up-to-date already".

5) Apply the "Ultimate fix", available here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

It's enough when you use the two files from the #crack sub-folder of the fix (TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll). Ignore everything else in the fix. These two files go into C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Replace the existing files, of course.

Also keep in mind that in order for this"Ultimate Fix" to work, you need AT LEAST one of the following expansions: University Life, 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations!
