Sims 3 Into the Future Compatibility Error. [SOLVED]

Hi Everyone,

I have successfully used the guide before to set the EPs except for Town Life. I currently use the Sims 3 Base Game listed in the instructions, The Sims 3 TM App.Zip once you download it. The only changes done to the base game was the code change in World Adventures install in the content package file, and the cracks of course. When installing the new into the future game I keep getting this error:

"The version of the Sims 3 installed is not updatable or compatible with the Sims 3 into the future."

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

I have version 1.57, which I thought was the last update required. I also opened the game launcher and it reads that my game is up to date. I did the manual update a few weeks ago to 1.57. Should I do the manual update again?

Hello, 

Version 1.63 is required for Into the Future. As Phoebe mentioned, please update your game and download also the new Ultimate Fix.

Downloading the patch now. Sorry about that, didn't know they released another one and the game update never indicated it. Thank you so much for your help! I will let you know how it turns out!

No worries. If the game update does not indicate it, simply click the refresh button until it appears.

For some reason the refresh button on my screen did not work, but I manually patched it. The expansion installed fine and I was able to load the game successfully. Thanks once again to you and phoebe and the rest of the games4theworld community. I appreciate it.
