"Showtime CD not found, please insert CD". [SOLVED] Empty "Showtime CD not found, please insert CD". [SOLVED]

Hello. I'd like to start off by saying I did read the "how to install the sims 3 correctly", and followed the steps. I've downloaded and installed all the EPs up to and including University Life, downloaded and used the manual updater to update, copied the files from the "All expansion packs released after Generations" folder into my Sims 3\Game\Bin folder (NOT the EP's), but I get the "showtime CD" message when I use the launcher, and using TS3W.exe doesn't do anything.
If I made a boo-boo please point it out, any help is appreciated!

If it's relevant at all, my copy of The Sims 3 base game is legitimate, but the rest are torrented.

Hello,

If you used that "manual patch", then it's enough to use the two files that are in the #crack-folder of the "Ultimate fix". So you basically copy the two files (TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll) into the base game location C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Replace the existing files, of course.
