SimCity 4 Deluxe Patch?

I've noticed that EA had released a patch for SimCity 4 Deluxe and still offers it online. I'm just wondering if I was supposed to install the patch before applying the crack for it to work, or am I allowed to install the patch afterward without messing up my game? Does anyone know if the patch is even worth the trouble to download?

If you do want to patch, I recommend doing so before cracking.
I haven't looked into any new patches for the game, but if you want to apply it, install it and then look online for a new, updated crack that works with that specific version of the game. The old one will probably be out-dated.

Hi,

I applied the needed Rush Hour Updates to my downloaded Simcity version 1.1.610 and managed to update it successfully to the latest version 1.1.640.

But that would all be useless because I still have to crack the game file which reverts the game back to its old version 1.1.610... Can you help/guide me in finding an updated crack with a version 1.1.638 or 1.1.640 for me to be able to play the game?
