Generations won't load. [SOLVED]

Hi there. I downloaded Generations from a torrent and applied the crack but when I start the game, it says that there is no disk. What should I do?

Did you apply the crack to C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin?

Yes. I first put it in the wrong directory, but then deleted it and put it in the right one. Does that still mess it up?

It shouldn't seeing as the files the crack consist of do not exist in the generations folder.

Do you perchance have one of those games that are store bought?

sims3fan13, I don't believe it should make a difference if its store bought. I installed with retail base game and world adventures and everything works just the same for me as it did with the torrent versions of those two. I could just be lucky, but it could be the way I install everything too however.

I think that might have gotten accidentally posted in the wrong topic.

It wont messed it up because I accidently put it in the wrong dictionary too.... but i kept it there, and put the crack in the right spot, so yeah it should bhe working fine right now. because it's working fine for me.

Hello,

That means you copied the crack to the wrong folder / directory.

Please be 100% sure that you copied only the Generations crack to exactly: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin AND NOT TO: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Generations\Game\Bin

I think you mean directory Kysan, not dictionary

Hey everyone. Sorry for the delayed response. (Internet went down for a while.) I got the problem fixed. I had to do a system restore because I was having other problems with my computer. But anyway, problem solved! Thanks for the help though
