world adventures error. [SOLVED]

every time i try installing world adventures i get this error message:The setup has detected that the installed game region for this update is incorrect. This update requires a different game region in order to be installed.

what did i do wrong?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Sims\The Sims 3 is where ive gone and there is only a default, nothing else......problem solved was in the wrong folder

yeah i was in the wrong folder ... i clicked the electronic arts one...instead of just sims folder...its installed already thank u
