Sims 3 University Download Complication

I stated this problem a while back and never got any answers.
I bought Sims 3 and Sims 3 pets. I have torrented Supernatural. I tried to torrent Sims 3 University, it didn't work, so I tried to uninstall it and fix it.
I uninstalled it and when I tried to reinstall it keeps giving me the uninstall client. I recently discovered that it is on my list of programs and when I try to unistall it from Add/Remove programs, it stays even after I went through the uninstall client.
What do I do so I can play the game?

Hello,
Where did you buy the base game? If you bought it from Steam, I don't think you can install The Sims 3: University Life successfully
. Install Revo Uninstaller and manually uninstall The Sims 3: University Life and clear any registry entries remaining in the registry by this uninstaller.

I actually don't remember where I bought the base game. I do remember buying it online, probably from amazon...what do you mean by manually uninstall? I can't even find the .exe file that runs the game anywhere but it says it's there.
The weirder part, is the icon for Sims 3 University on my add/remove programs is the same exact icon for the Sims 2 base game. What is wrong?

Hello,
If The Sims 3: University Life's icon is in Revo Uninstaller panel, you can uninstall (or force uninstall when necessary) it via this Uninstaller. Please check if The Sims 3 base game folder is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\. I suspsect you applied the wrong crack/applied it wrongly.

My base game is located in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game
