Cant get The Sims 1 Complete Collection to start up Empty Cant get The Sims 1 Complete Collection to start up

I just downloaded The Sims 1 Complete Collection. Everything went fine until I actually tried starting the game. I get a black screen for a few seconds and then it crashes back to the desktop. I've tried using compatibility mode in Windows XP, 98, ME, 95, running it as an administrator, disabling desktop composition and none of those worked. (I have a Windows 7 64 bit laptop).
