***Sims 3 Patch/update Problem***

The link in here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v155-fix-manual-patch isn't working for me HELP! I've installed sims 3 and downloaded island paradise, i didn't put a crack in the sims 3 like you said and when i try to install island paradise it says error with the sims 3 update setup is not able to continue. And when i try to update through the launcher it says game is up to date. Help please.
