TS3 Black screen of horror

Help!! I have faith in you helping me with my issues so I guess my worries are almost over. BTW thanks for providing us with good gaming. OK so I downloaded Island Paradise, updated my patch and mods the game was going great but all of a sudden it stop working. every time I try to play once I press play in the launcher that's it, I'm stuck on the black screen. also I have getting the cannot connect to origin msg and now its telling me to update which I have with cracks and all. And I've even tried bypassing the launcher by using TS3W.exe: same result (black screen) I really need help. Thanks

Hello,
Have you applied the #crack of the Ultimate Fix to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin if you purchased the base game via Origin)?
The second error (Unable to connect to Origin) is negligible because Origin is a patching software which allows you to patch The Sims 3, but we have manual patch to replace it, so you can neglect the error without problem.

Can you show me the folder of the original #crack? Where did you paste the #crack from?

All my games/expansions have their own folder downloaded that way. and each folder has its bin. and the more recent expansions went to Electronic arts.

Can you show me the screenshots of the content of each folder except the base game?

Can you try the following ? Go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete the following things:
-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"
After that, re-boot the computer. Now try again to start the game with the TS3W.exe.

Ok I'm back again sorry about the response time. OK so I've trying since my issue and I tried the cache again and still I get black screen. only thing is I couldn't find the world cache and I just deleted whatever was I the sigs cache folder.

That the "WorldCaches" folder is not there, is not a big deal. What could be a deal though is that you deleted something which I didn't suggested.sasha414star wrote:Hello,

So for now, go to "My Documents/Electronic Arts§ and delete or rename the folder "The Sims 3". You can also try this then: reduce the screen resolution of your computer screen to 1024 x 768.
Then try to re-start the game.
