Black Screen

The install was fine. I started the binary .exe file and everything is dandy. After I leave the Citadel to perform my first galaxy map travel the screen tells me how to control the mouse on the map and then just stays black with a word "widow" appearing at the top left corner. I considered the game frozen after 30 minutes. Have not been able to find answers to similar questions yet.

Oh yeah... most important part is that the game is Mass Effect. First one

Did you use the included "# Map Fix" ? It should fix the map problem.
