Will it mess up my game? [SOLVED]

I have downloaded most of the stuff and expansions packs! The two things which I haven't are "Town Life Stuff" and "Katy Perry Sweets Stuff". I didn't download KPS Stuff cause TheLazyGameReviewer (from Youtube) said it was not worth it. But as for Town Life Stuff, I completely forgot about it. As I said earlier, I've downloaded most of the stuff and expansions packs! As of now, my latest is still University Life cause Island Paradise is still downloading (and I'm waiting for "Movie Stuff" ^_^)
SOOO, will it mess up my game if I download and install a previous version of Sims (Town Life Stuff)? Please help!

You can install any expansions/stuff packs you want. Just follow steps 2-4 of this guide and try again.

No of course not. The manual patch is like a safe precaution and fixes some of the in-game bugs and it's safe to patch manually.

Okay, I'm still a tad bit confused. So, correct me if I'm wrong:
I already have the latest version of Sims and also the latest expansion pack. If I download a previous expansion pack (Town Life Stuff Pack, to be precise) then all I have to do is follow steps 2-4 of that guide?

Yes, just install your Town Life Stuff Pack and follow steps 2-4
