sims moving slow Empty sims moving slow

Post by Guest Sat 14 Sep 2013, 10:49

Hi, I hope here's the right place for this message.
I have all the downloads. Till recently I had the downloads until Pets, then I installed Island paradise, and everything was OK. I downloaded and installed everything in between, including Dragon valley, and I started to have problems with my sims. They are moving very slow, like they need at least half an hour (game's hour) to do what I told them to do. They are making something like one and a half hour just to come back home after work. I disabled free will but nothing changed. I downloaded the Ultimate fix hoping this will fix my problem but it didn't. My dragon egg is still not hatching. And something else, I downloaded the game via Origin and I don't have a file MODS in My documents/Electronic Arts/the sims 3.
Please help.

Hello,

First of all, applying the Ultimate Fix doesn't literally solve your problem. The Ultimate Fix will only solve "No Disc" error and some sorts of errors appearing during startup. If you wish to apply the fix, you should drag and drop the content of the folder #crack to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. I need to ask you some questions though, so please read them carefully:
(1) Where (which site) did you download CC from? Are they from www.games4theworlddownloads.org?
(2) Did you apply the store fix after downloading Dragon Valley and other official store content? Store fix can be found here: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/ts3/storefixes.html

Hello,

You will need a mod framework to do so. Follow this guide: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/Downloads/Guides/How_to_install_.package_files.pdf

Hi, I uninstalled my Sims 3 games and download everything from here, but my problem with slow moving sims persists. They are thinking a lot before starting to do anything in the game and there's some strange movement of going back and forth at every door. I'm losing a lot of game time with these problems. Please help!

Is your game slow as a whole?
Is it only your Sims that are slow or the clock is too?

Please go to Documents\Electronic Arts\Sims and try to delete the following files:
¤ CASPartCache.package
¤ scriptCache.package
¤ compositorCache.package
¤ simCompositorCache.package
¤ the Folder DCBackup and DCCache.
Then try again...

Is not helping. And I noticed yesterday, before deleting these files, that sometimes the whole game is freezing for 2-3 minutes, our minutes. But this doesn't affect sim time.
Please help, I gave command to my Sim to feed a hungry toddler, and it spent a sim hour thinking about it, while the toddler's icon turned red.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that my suggestions (yesterday) didn't help you - but if your computer isn't strong enough, you might have to un-install one (or more) expansions.

What you can try maybe is to defragment your hard-drive or make some space on it (delete unused programs or unnecessary files).
