The Sims 3 Pets - Sims 3 has stopped working when moving a family into a lot

I've done everything I can think of, including the ultimate fix. I've got base game, supernatural and seasons installed (all games4theworld). It only does this when I have a pet in my family (works fine if not). Happens on all worlds.

EDIT: Did a clean uninstall and reinstall of the base and pets (followed steps on both ultimate fix and DEP etc), problem continued. Checked some of the solutions on the forums and sadly, no luck. Uninstalled until I'm able to get a fix

This sounds like a familiar problem.
Do you have any Mods or Custom Content?
