Updating Question Empty Updating Question

So I recently got a brand new comp. I have the base game and couple other games on disc. The others, I got from G4TW.

I updated the game from 1.00 or whatever the very first update was at the beginning with the original Sims 3 base game, to 1.57 on the launcher.

Should I have done that? From 1.00 to 1.57, I thought it would take forever so did it patch/update all the other patches/updates or just that one 1.57 patch/update.

Hello,

All other previous patches/improvements are basically "included" in the current (1.57) patch, so yes, there is nothing else you should do. Wink

Unlike in some other games, you don't need to install all previous patches in The Sims 3.

Hello,

It's not a bad idea to use the same patch again after you've installed all your ep/sp's though, that'll take care of any of their bugs.
