Question about Updating Sims 3

I have the Sims 3 and Expansion Pack of Sims 3
My problem is do I have to update the Expansion Pack? like Ambition and Worlds Adventure into the latest version?
I have the latest version of The sims 3 already and the only problem is the expansion pack.

Hello,
Expansionpacks aren't updated individually. As long as your base game version is 1.24, your entire game is up to date.
