Laggy cursor. [SOLVED] Empty Laggy cursor. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Sat 21 Sep 2013, 21:45

After i installed an expansion(with your awesome guide btw)i managed to get it to work, the problem is
everytime i click the mouse or even with the keyboard , the game gets stuck for a second or two , and when i click on the right mouse key it gets stuck for even longer, it's really frustrating, the game worked just fine without the expansion pack and the patches

Hello,

You can try all the solutions mentioned here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t4692-game-lag-possible-fixes

In the meantime, can you tell me your computer's CPU and GPU? Also do you have any mods/CC?

NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3
is this what you were looking for?
As for the solutions, some of them didn't work, and some of them are surely not my issue
beisdes the gamebooster, i've tried everything
i dont remember putting any mods/cc
unless there are some that come with the game,
all i did was install the seasons expansion.

Hello,

Can you tell the clock speed of your processor (in terms of GHz) and also the amount of RAM? Is your computer a laptop or a desktop computer?

Hello,

Can you rename this folder C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and try again with a new save? I would like to know if there are any differences.

Hello,

The problem can be because of corrupted saves/caches in the Electronic Arts folder. Anyway, glad to hear that your problem is solved. Please let us know if you need any assistance!
