After installation of Pets all families and saved games gone. [SOLVED]

I had downloaded The Sims 3 and Supernatural, Generations, Island Paradise, University Life and Seasons. Everything worked fine. Then I installed Pets and when the installation finished I started the game. At the start no families appeared and no towns were available, it was just blank. It did show an error message that said that it didn't recognize the memory, or something like that. My guess is that when I pasted the crack content to the Bin of Sims 3 something got lost or corrupted. I just cant access Saved games nor can I start new ones. Please help, I really don't want to have to start again. I loved my little family.

Hello,

Please try the following (even if you have tried):

(1) Please download apply the manual patch here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch.

(2) Download the latest Ultimate Fix here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems.

(3) Drag and drop the content of the folder #crack from the Ultimate Fix to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Thank you for the answer. I'll try it out and post my results.
But I already uninstalled The Sims 3 and thats how I found out that my family is still saved, only in Documents>Electronic Arts>Saved.
The families are there, so I re installed the game and am on my way to use the ultimate fix.

Well, a little update on what has happened.
I re-installed the base game and used the ultimate fix along the way to fix some problems I had with reading the daemon tools light disk 1. It worked and proceeded to install the expansion packs.
I finished installing them yesterday at 1:30 am without a problem.
That's when I tried to update the game to finally finish with the ultimate fix but my launcher kept crashing saying it stopped working.
So today I was reading another topic from games4theworld and it worked out.
The update was already on downloads so I just ran it as administrator. It just finished installing and now I will put the ultimate fix.
So far so good. Touch wood. bounce
