No game disc found after installing Sims 3 generations. [SOLVED]

I have sims ambitions, sims seasons and then I tried installing generations. This error pops up even if I already applied crack in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and also tried latest fix
When i open launcher I noticed too that sims3 seasons is not listed on the toolbar below as installed? even though it is in the installed directory. So I tried uninstalling generations and now it says ambitions do not work
What do I do?

At first, download and apply the "manual patch": https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v157-fix-manual-patch
Then, re-download the "Ultimate fix": https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
Open the #crack folder only, copy the two files to C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Choose "replace existing files". And that should help you. Good luck !

Hi!
Thanks for the prompt reply. It's working now! I updated to manual patch but I downloaded using the EA manager. Do you know where it gets stored? If I add another expansion pack do I need to do that step again? Upgrade to 1.5.7 then use Ultimate fix?

Yes, after installing another expansion, re-apply the manual patch and then the two files from the #crack folder in the Ultimate fix. And I'm glad it's working.

Ohh okay do you know where the manual patch is saved? I downloaded the manual patch using EA manager(wish I downloaded from your link I just realized its 1 GB and don't wanna download for a long time again) and cannot seem to find where the .exe is saved?

I'm sorry, but I can't help with that (maybe another Helper can). Indeed, updating with the "manual patch" (the one that I posted) is the safest way.
But do you have any other questions maybe ?

Aww okay have to redownload manual patch again if I want to install new expansion pack
Anyway that's all the question I have but thank you! Will be enjoying the game for now and will hold on installing new expansion packs for now
