Sims Medieval no disc inserted?

Once downloaded i followed all the instructions again installing the fix and yet it still does not work. The only variation i had from the instructions was when installing the fix when you ask to update the game before putting in the ultimate fix crack my game did not find any updates. I'm really keen to get it working and others seem to have had the same problem as me and fixed it with the ultimate fix. Stuck wondering why mine won't work!
