"EXCEPTION RAISED" error. [SOLVED] Empty "EXCEPTION RAISED" error. [SOLVED]

Hi! So I've followed every single bit of instruction in the sims 3 base game installation and the expansion pack instructions too, I've only installed one expansion pack (Showtime) since I just wanna test out first if the game would work. 

So Everything worked out okay, until I launched the actual game, I get this message:

"EXCEPTION RAISED" error. [SOLVED] Screen12

doesnt matter I click yes/no, it closes anyway.
So I was thinking,


was this problem occurring because I updated to 1.63 already???
(I saw the latest post which says NOT to update to 1.63 too late)
