Constant "Exception Raised" error... HELP! Empty Constant "Exception Raised" error... HELP!

Post by Guest Wed 22 Apr 2015, 17:49

So I've gotten this error since I installed a few more EPs (which was hours ago...been trying to fix the error since then...) and I tried mainly everything I was able to find through the internet. I used "Repair Disk Permissions", which didn't help. I re-applied the ultimate fix and patch things, didn't work either. And I tried so many things I can't remember most of them. Nothing helped, am I doomed or what?

Please someone help me. I am seriously desperate now.

Unclick the advance rendering in options, this generally stopped it on my system. It may not be a permenant fix but it should give you some more playability. And save the game often just in case:) I read reloading ever half hour or so it also a safe bet.

Hello,

After following following the previous tip, you can also check your mods and store items as they usually create a mess and make your game problematic.

Hello,

Your mods folder should be in your Documents/The Sims 3 file, if you ever have downloaded any custom content. Have you downloaded any?

No, I didn't, that's why couldn't find it IAmSoHappyEmergahwdIAmSoHappyEmergahwd. But even with low graphics rendering it's impossible to play, when create a sims and I reach the clothing it freezes or the pop up "exception raised" shows her little pretty face. I'm on 2,7Ghz iMac, just bought it so I thought it would run like Usain Bolt but... Here we are. I will wait for a better Mac download, I read that it would be out in one or maybe two months.
Sorry for bad english, I'm French.. Thanks a lot for your feedback !
