Post by Guest Mon 21 Oct 2013, 14:05

Well folks after midnight The Sims 3 will be releasing it's last expansion pack "Into the Future",therefor closing the final chapter of The Sims 3 series, yes i know Sims 4 is coming very soon, but i will miss downloading new expansion packs and stuff packs to enhance my Sims 3 experience, yes Sims 3 has had it's bugs and lag issues, but The Sims 3 in my opinion is the best Sims game yet!!,i don't know what The Sims 4 future will hold for us,it could be better than The Sims 3,or be like a bad movie sequel that we wish we never played!!,i really enjoy The Sims 3,and i do thank you G4TW for bringing all the Sims 3 adventure to every one of us!!.you guys are the best..

Agree with you Hard_Drive87, with all the bugs that had to be worked out, it's been one heck of a fun ride.  I'm going to be staying with 3 for a long time, there's too much I haven't done with this one yet.  I highly doubt that i'll be moving on to 4.

But, the store will be open for an unspecified period of time, so we'll have new 'stuff' to occupy our simmies (and ourselves).

Thanks to G4TW from me also, you guys and gals do Rock!

Hi there,

Sounds like a sad story. Which it is, really. No more new problems for us to fix. :(Kidding, of course.
Time for a new start: The Sims 4.

Oh, by the way, what will happen to the Store Updates? Will they stop updating them eventually? Does anyone have more information about this?

I think as of right now they will continue them, they already introduced another world creator witch confirms Midnight hallow wasn't the last world. Unless their going to make content bug free (I doubt that will ever happen) I think it will continue.

The same with me; there are lots of things in The Sims 3 I haven't tried/played with yet. Facepalm

Thanks for your encouragement, but personally, I'm really glad that this hell is over soon, lol. Shocked  Laughing

Yes I am sad as well but hey this I shall keep playing till I buy my own copy of Sims 4. I will not get it from here as it is also going to my daughter for her to play as I gave her Sims 3 legit but got everything else from you beautiful folks. Sims 4 will be legit for her and I, but of course I will get everything else from here and I thank you very much Lady Eldi and Admin. Imagine that spending a bit over 1 thousand dollars just for a full game. Pfft being Rich does not mean I am stupid.

Due to the fact that The Sims 4 recommended spec is unknown, I will stick to The Sims 3. Well even though The Sims 4 is for low-end pc. I am not sure I can run it smoothly. Technically I have only 40GB in my hard disk so... yeah....

Try and get an SSD Drive they are stupidly inexpensive. A 128 drive will cost you a mere 150 bucks. I got a 64 gig just to install my sims 3 with everything included and it runs like a beauty.

You think everyone has much money to spare? Even it's only 150 bucks...

For me, it's unaffordable, I am only a student.

I would rather buy a new gaming laptop (when I get a part-time job, not now, since I am kinda busy with my schoolwork). I know you may say something like "Build your own pc!", but sorry I am not good at that, and I would not waste my money this way.

Good news (or bad): there's still plenty of time remaining for the Sims 3: the Sims 4 is officially coming out in fall, 2014 (probably november) so there's still a whole year !

If you check The Sims Wiki, it has been confirmed by EA that The Sims 4 is going to be released in fall 2014. Simsvip and IGN approve this message.

I haven't seen any info on any in-depth subject in regards to The Sims 4.  The only thing I'm headdesking over, however, is that it seems they're going to be reinforcing the ghastly Origin program.  I'm not looking forward to that at all.  As far as the game goes though, to be honest, The Sims 4 just looks like a more slim-line version of The Sims 3 with a few more social tweaks.   Facepalm   The CAS looks neat, but nothing mind-blowing.  They really haven't released enough "sneak-peak" content or videos to make anyone go crazy over it and insta-pre-order it.

The one thing that has always driven me crazy though, about new Sims releases?  Is that most custom content creators MOVE ON.  Evil or Very Mad   It's rare you'll find a lot of people that stick to making content for an "out dated" game.  So, unless you plan on upgrading to the next "bigger, better game" yourself, you're sort of stuck at a stand still when it comes to continuing to get the best mods and the next best pair of toddler outfits. lol.  I had that issue when The Sims 3 came out... hate to say it.  TS2 was baws back in the day, suddenly everyone quit making CC for it and everyone moved on to The Sims 3.  Bleh.

I'm going to be sticking to TS3 for a while.  There's no way I've really, fully completed all I can do in this game.   Razz

Remember people love new stuff. This always happens when a new installment is released. Technology is no exception Smile. A famous example is MSN. People no longer use MSN when Skype is out, but personally I think MSN is better.

And I totally agree with you, that Origin is the worst game client in the world.

I looked up the release date again cause I knew it was coming out in early 2014, then I saw that it had been delayed to become released in fall of 2014. My mistake.
