Girlfriend/boyfriend being roommates in university

Is it possible that your sims's boyfriend or girlfriend can move in with them as roommates? i was just curious because i've a bad experience with the sims in the university dying in the dorms on me so i moved her out into her own house but i want her boyfriend living with her while she's still in college. is that possible?

It's possible to ask your sim's boyfriend to move in. Simply invite boyfriend to your sim's house in the college (note that your sim should not be living in sorority). Chit-chat with him a little bit and then choose the option "Ask to be roommates". Your sim's grilfriend should agree even though their relationship is not good enough.
