Mass Effect 1 problem

Hello everyone,

After I downloaded the game from piratebay and followed the instructions in here i always get the error code: 'failed to intialize the emulator' and i can't find a proper solution. Running as administrator or a new crack doesn't helped, as wel I've already updated the game to 1.02.

Try as follows, please:

1. Completely uninstall the game using Your Uninstaller! Pro from www.games4theworld.org . Use the "Super Mode".
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall the game as follows: open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRAR, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRAR, like WinZip or 7-Zip, the files will usually get messed up!)
After opening the .rar file using WinRAR, select all the files in it and drag & drop them to an empty folder on your Desktop. When the extraction has finished, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop. 
Now start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt", and you should be able to get the game to work yourself.

4. Do apply the included "# Map Fix", as instructed!
5. Do not update the game or something, just do as instructed in the included Installation Guide.
6. Test the game and let us know the result.
