Sound has bugged Empty Sound has bugged

So I was playing(The Sims3), as you usually do.
And suddenly, the "success"-sound starts going... And doesn't stop.
I traveled to the future with one Sim, and it wasn't there, so I thought "Hey, let's just move them to another neighborhood!"
So I did.
At first it was fine, but now I have the same problem there.
Sure, it's nice feeling successful, but it's starting to get annoying. I've turned of the sound effects or whatever, but now I can't hear when they do anything(Except speak that is) so I'm sad.

Hello,

Do you have any mods or custom content (CC) on your game, currently?  That can cause some weird glitches and what seems like bugs if your mods are outdated or conflicting with each other.  Your game will become extremely unstable.

Nope, I removed those a while ago when I had another problem, so nothing like that.

I'm going to need a bit more information than what you told us in your original post.  Have you already isolated the incident and know it is a problem happening with your GAME or just this specific neighborhood/save family/file?

Have you tested other families out, have you tested other neighborhoods? Perhaps started a brand new family?

I don't know.. I'll try making a new family tomorrow, but I need to sleep now. x: 

Will see how the new family thing works out.
But I've come so far with this one, makes me sad that it bugs.

Moved in another family in another house in another neighborhood.
So far so good.


EDIT; Have been playing it all day, still nothing..
So I guess it must be with the other family..

Hey there,

You can go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete the following stuff: (if you don't see any contents in WorldCaches, it's fine too)



-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"


Then try again your old sim family. Let us know if it worked. Good luck ! Smile
