The game will not save snapshots

My game will not save snapshots to the launcher. While playing the game I take a picture and the pop-up comes up saying it saved to the launcher, but when I look in the launcher no pics. It saves videos, houses, sims, and all that I can even upload them. I've looked in the folders,but I can't find the pictures there either  I have downloaded 70's, 80's,&90's stuff pack, High-End Loft stuff, Into the Future, Master Suite Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, and University Life from you and am working on downloading the rest of the expansions.  I don't know if this is important for you to know, but I thought I should include the info. I'm sure using the ultimate fix would fix this, but I have played quite a bit and I  don't want to start over, but I will if I have to. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated

Can you check the folder My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Screenshots?

See if there are any screenshots inside the folder. Also how did you capture a screenshot? Did you click on the "Screenshot" button (NOT Capture this Moment"), or press "C" to do so?

Yes I looked in the folder and I have clicked the snapshot button and c shortcut. It says you can find your snapshot in launcher, but no snapshots.

Do you have any Custom Content or Mods? Sometimes they might be in conflict with the snapshot function. Take all of them out and give it a go.

You should also delete the following caches and files in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3:

Create-a-Sim Cache: CasPartCache.package
Build/Buy mode cache: compositorCache.package
Mod or custom content cache: scriptCache.package
New Sims and skin cache: simCompositorCache.package
Socialcache.package
Look for a folder that says Thumbnails. Delete anything inside of it.
Look for a folder that says Worldcaches. Delete anything inside of it.

Will that mess with my saves? Should I upload my people before doing this? II have the starter mod folder from mod the sims and a skin. My game runs on windows and other than this I have had no problems with your games. Well except for one but that was because I installed a pack wrong. I had to open the game from a folder since the launcher wouldn't recognize me. I fixed that by installing into the future but making sure to follow the directions in the read me properly and that fixed it since its the newest version of the game.

This will never mess up your games, and in fact, it's suggested to clear these files often.

//EDIT: It didn't work still no snapshots. I decided to just uninstall everything and re-install, but thank you for your help I just got tired of it. I have already uninstalled everything, and am now re-installing my cd's. I am then going to piratebay to download every expansion I don't have from you using. Before I messed up installing one I think that is where my problem came from. Now that I know about it, this time I am going to use the how to install correctly/ultimate fix page when installing my packs.

I un-installed and re-installed everything and did the ultimate fix and I still don't have any pictures. I would like to make a legacy, and I can't do that without snapshots. Plz help.

You may want to see if it changes anything by right-clicking on whatever executable file you run The Sims 3 by, and selecting the option to 'Run as Administrator'.    In other words, right-click on the TS3W.exe (for example) and run it as Administrator.

For the record, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't always solve your issue.  Especially when you either 1)  don't do a clean uninstall (deleting/cleaning your registry after uninstalling) or, 2)  restarting your PC after uninstalling.  Those are two vital steps that need to be done in order to actually delete everything TS3 related from your PC - otherwise the second you reinstall, the problem stayed there and will just resurface.
