Possible issue with "Reply with quote"-button. [SOLVED]

Maybe I'm just too stupid, tired or maybe it's really a bug that came with the latest forum update, but whenever I want to use the button "Reply with quote", the interface doesn't let me put in my text "outside" of the yellowish quote box. This means that the quote along with my post all appear in a "quote box", for a lack of a better expression. So my post doesn't show up as something "separate" from the quote.
Anyone else having that problem ?

OK, I think I figured it out. I switched to Chrome (the problem appeared with "Firefox") and at the bottom of the yellow quote box I used the button "Insert a line break", then I hit enter. After that I "got out" of the quote box - and my post showed up separately.
This solution doesn't seem to work in Firefox, though.
Anyone else having that problem ?

Try going into "Editor mode" It's the icon that looks like paper in the bottom row above the text box.

Yes, that did the trick! Although I couldn't see my text at first, I just switched again between "editor mode" twice - et voilà! It's working !

The new system is indeed still bugged. The makers are aware of this and are working on it.
I have the exact same problems as you do, so we'll have to wait for another board update, which - hopefully - will be soon.

If you experience the same issue like the one I described in my opening post, then just read invalidusername's reply.

Go into editor mode, mark the post with your mouse and then click somewhere at the end of the text. Hit the "enter"-key on your keyboard, type anything in, and THEN exit the editor mode (just click again on the "switch editor mode"-button).
This topic remains closed until further notice.
