The sims 3 - New game button greyed out. [SOLVED]

Hi guys. I installed the Sims 3 and it seems that I can't create a new game after I created a first one.

Here's what happened:

1.) I wanted to create a new game save after the first one I created. So, I head on and pressed the + new game button.

2.) Then here comes the problem.

3.) I can't continue because the + new game button is grayed out.

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Try going to the top main menu first, where you select your town. Can't start a game from there?

Also, do you have any Mods or Custom Content?

Hi sir, I currently have no mods or custom content
installed.


Also I went in the top menu first and I can select a town
but I cant press the +New Game button. Its grayed out.


Btw, I tried posting or uploading some screenshots in the
forum but I can’t . It says Could not upload file : exceeded total storage
space. (Free space: 16)

Hi madam, your solution to my
problem is another work around but Its still a bit of a hassle. You need to
save , close then cut paste you’re save game in your pc. You then need to start
the game up then create a new game. You then need to save game then quit. After
wards, you need to copy back the save game you copied in your pc to see the all
the save games back in the game.


This is a temporary workaround. I really wish there’s a way to activate the
+new game button in the game for an easier saving experience. Anyways Thank you for this alternative solution. =)

Please contact me via the Forum's chatbox when you see me online on the Forum.

Well once you select your town you don't click the new game button again. You click the check on the bottom, just like if you're loading a previously saved game.
