The Sims 1 Installation Problem.[SOLVED] Empty The Sims 1 Installation Problem.[SOLVED]

Post by Guest Mon 06 Jan 2014, 10:05

Not sure if this is the right area to post this in, but I couldn't find an area for it if this is indeed the wrong section.

Anyway, I have everything installed technically, but after the installation, where you're supposed to move Sims.exe from #Crack to Maxis\The Sims, I can't get it to do it properly. It says to move the file and overwrite. When I try to do it, it says "Create link here" or something like that, and when I go through with it, it just creates a shortcut to the file. I can't get the file itself to move over and overwrite.

I'm sure there's a simple fix to this, it feels like kind of a silly problem, but I can't figure it out. Help, please?

EDIT: Turns out there was a VERY simple fix. Instead of dragging and dropping, I just copied the file and pasted it there. Bada-bing, bada-boom, I guess! Sorry if you wasted your time reading this, I'm going to go play some Sims now, see you all in a month~

 Awesome Emote
